Magnifico wants his daughter, Aurelia, to marry the Capitano -- even though neither Aurelia nor Capitano are in favor of the idea. Aurelio is Aurelia's true love, but Magnifico won’t allow them to marry because he thinks Aurelio – though wealthy and from a noble background – is too ridiculous to have for a son in law. The three hatch a plot to convince Magnifico to allow the sweethearts to marry. Shenanigans ensue.

Our Spring Season of
COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE
You can click these links to learn more about commedia:
Commedia Dell'arte is a kind of comedic, improvisational theatre that began in Italy in the 16th century and is popular around the world today. Commedia is traditionally performed by a small group of actors outdoors who are wearing masks specific to their characters. Opening Act actors will gain an understanding of Commedia's history and influence on the theatre, explore mask work as an acting technique, learn improvisation and physical comedy skills, and perform LIVE, IN-PERSON in a Commedia Dell'Arte play (with COVID precautions in place). Commedia is physical, funny, creative, energetic, exciting theatre!
Mr. Talmadge says that the most FUN he has ever had doing theatre is doing Commedia.
