Service Description

Actors entering grades 1 - 9 get a role in a brand new musical, Gruff. Participants get to sing, dance, act, play, explore, and rehearse from 8:30 to 4:00 each day in preparation for a fully staged musical performance at 6:30 on Friday night. It's the best week of the year! Actors should wear easy-to-move in clothing and sneakers (no flip flops or crocs). They should come prepared with a water bottle, lunch, and two snacks each day. About Gruff: "Gruff" is a dramatic, heartwarming musical play full of catchy tunes, complex characters, and exciting action. At Townvillburg’s 25th Anniversary celebration rhyming competition, a Goat, Tamra Gruff, faces off against a Troll, Sterk. The competition ends in a big fight between Trolls and Goats. Princess Kailey hates the fighting, and uses her magic to split Townvillburg in half, with Goats on one side, Trolls on the other, and a deep chasm in between. Spanning the chasm is a bridge, which Princess Kailey declares no one may cross. She orders Sterk to guard the bridge. Sterk is there when The Sisters Gruff decide to cross the bridge anyway, setting off a chain of events that could lead to war! Princess Kailey realizes separating the Goats and Trolls was not right, instead they have to learn to respect each other - together.
