Service Description

This is the best week a theater kid can have! We work on a play all day! For actors entering grades 1 - 9. Camp meets from 8:30 to 4:00 each day from August 14 to August 18. We will perform the musical Take a Bath at 6:30 on Friday, August 18. Admission is free, and the show is open to the public. Please invite your friends and family! We meet at Portage Chapel Hill Church, 7028 Oakland Drive, Portage. We are grateful for their hospitality! Please send your child with a sack lunch and 2 snacks each day. We picnic on the lawn at lunchtime. It's a lot of fun! Your performer should come to camp in easy-to-move-in, comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes (like sneakers). They should be able to stretch, kick, and turn without worrying about being too revealing, twisting an ankle, or having a shoe fly off. On Friday evening, your performers should be in full costume with hair done for a cast photo at 6:00. The show will start at 6:30 and should be done by 7:30. We then ask as many families as are able to stay and help us strike. (Strike is taking apart the set and moving all of Opening Act's things out of the building.) Thanks!
