Actors entering grades 1 - 9 get a role in an original musical, Take A Bath. Participants get to sing, dance, act, play, explore, and rehearse from 8:30 to 4:00 each day in preparation for a fully staged musical performance at 6:30 on Friday night. It's the best week of the year! Actors should wear easy-to-move in clothing and sneakers (no flip flops or crocs). They should come prepared with a water bottle, lunch, and two snacks each day. About Take A Bath: General Naaman has a rash that will not heal. He is told the Prophet Elisha can heal him, so he travels to Israel, hoping for a cure. When he gets there, nothing is as he expected. This fun, comedic musical is based on 2 KINGS 5:1-19 in the Hebrew Scriptures. "Take a Bath" is full of unique characters, unforgettable songs, and an uplifting message about pride, compassion, and the possibility of healing change.
